You may know me by names like "IMPACT," "The Wire" or "A.P.", but my real name is Andy Partin and I have been lucky enough to operate Impact Baseball, Inc. for over 8 years now and live a wonderful, unique life.

For me, nothing is more important than family. Loving and helping support my wife Tracy, my daughter Molly Jo and my son Cooper is my main goal in life. But, baseball and helping others is a passion of mine.

As you probably know by now I founded "Impact Baseball" a few years back. I am constantly asked, "how did you begin Impact Baseball?" It may seem frivolous, but when I began coaching at 19 years old, I always kept track of the best players we played against or I came across. After a couple summer and fall seasons, I had a nice list jotted down on some memo pads.

In 2001, when I barely knew how to turn on a computer, a friend told me about a national publication that listed the top baseball players from all over the country. I checked it out on the web (with help from Tracy). I thought, wow I should do this for the players in this area. I put something together with some help from friends and family, and the rest is history.

Now, I could not be more excited about this new venture with ImpactScout.com! This is the ultimate recruiting and scouting website. We've got profiles, interviews, scouting reports, videos and an advanced, searchable schedule database. What more could a coach, scout or baseball enthusiast ask for?

Family: Married (Tracy), with 1 daughter (Molly Jo) and 1 son (Cooper)

Hobbies Outside of Baseball: Spending time with family, playing golf, cards, watching movies, and enjoying company at home.

Greatest Thrill in Scouting: Stumbling upon an unheard of Alan Webster in the 2008 spring playoffs, spreading the word and watching him go on to be drafted in the 18th round by the Dodgers.

Favorite Movies: I love comedy! I'm a huge Wedding Crashers and Old School fan. I really like revenge-type movies also like 300, Rocky IV, Gladiator, Punisher, etc. But, Tracy likes chick-flicks... So you can imagine what kinds of movies we rent... The Notebook sound familiar?

Favorite Music: I'd have to say the Offspring is my favorite band, but I listen to all kinds of music.
